Love It

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs large

I have put these pants through hell camping, kayaking, and rock-climbing. And they held up so well! I'm very hippy and curvy and these are flattering on me. They stretch where they they should and don't cling. I wear them in the backcountry for work and recreation, and I sometimes wear them around town and pretend they're jeans. They're more comfortable and flattering than most jeans anyway!

They are very breathable and dry super quick, I use them as paddling pants. They aren't warm though so be aware of that. I will be on the lookout for these to be available and on sale again, I would be happy to have another pair.

Really Nice

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:Runs large

These pants look very nice on. I think they run just a little big compared to my other North Face items. They are not for cold weather as are pretty thin material; however, I think that is why they look so nice and stylish on.

Big than normal!

I ordered S size but it is to big. It's almost 8 size!

I wear a 6 size on city wear, sometimes 4 size on Mountain Hardwear.

It is light but it is not waterproof or windproof.

I think it is fittable indoor sports. eg. aerobic or yoga.

    Really lightweight

When I got these pants I was looking for some soft shell pants that I could wear while snowshoeing and was a bit surprised when I got them. The polyester is VERY lightweight and I had my doubts whether it could hold up to outdoor activity. After trying these out however, I find that they work GREAT over a baselayer and a good at keeping me dry in light rain.

For once TNF is too big for me!

A nice pant but the legs are wider than they look in the picture and for once, a TNF XL was too big for me. I have a hard time fitting pants as I am exactly in between most Reg and Petite's in length and have 'well developed' legs, BIG in other words. I may try these in a L but they are made of a light, rather silky material and almost seemed dressy. I wanted a clean looking sweat or lounge pant that would be warmer than these.
