Got these mittens to deal with the brutal Wisconsin cold. They are great! Was out skiing today when it was -9F with winds making it -25 F. The mittens kept my hands warm throughout. When i bought them i thought they would be too bulky for handling ski poles but they have been fine. Highly recommend.

Basing this off the men's sizing chart, if you get a size M, your finger tip will probably be at the top of the mitt for a tighter fit. If you want more room, I would size up to a L. That way you will be able to add a liner if needed without being constricted.
