The North Face Nuptse Bootie III - Women's - 2009 BCS

love these nuptse booties.this is my second pair.

I'd imagine these wouldn't be great in the rain, but in the snow, they are magnificent. A few weeks ago, I was in Chicago and walked from the Field Museum along the lake to the Hancock tower in the snow, and I was as toasty as could be. Just finished a 3 mile Christmas walk in the snow in Truckee — the roads were pretty icy, and I was the only one in our group to not slip and fall. They are truly like little sleeping bags for your feet. I recommend ordering 1/2 size up — I'm usually an 8.5, but the 9 fit me perfectly.

This boot is so comfortable, great for shoveling snow just slide on a pair of Nupste's. Your feet will get wet if you plan on being outside in a rain storm, not waterproof. If you are a person that has cold feet, purchase these and problem solved.

They are super comfortable, and stylish. I have to agree with some of the other reviews I have read about this boot, & I believe these run a little on the small side. Half sizes, best order next size up. Like a cozy sleeping bag sewn to a tred.

These are the best purchase I have ever made. Your feet are warm and dry indoors and outdoors. I added a sheep insole to them and go barefeet. I have MS and I trust these boots when I wear them and dont end up doing a face plant every time I turn around. I am ordering a new pair of brown and adding a black pair to my boot collection for next year. I have worn mine for 3 years and I wont go without them!!!!

bought them for my fiance for our recent trip to lake placid, NY. She loved them. First they are very comfortable, and her jeans fit inside perfectly. She was warm and dry the whole time, and mostly for her, she loved the way they looked.

Great traction, so slipping was not an issue. She got them in 24 inches of snow, and stayed dry.

I love these boots. I have them in blue to wear with jeans so they go with just about everything. I live in Alaska and use these to run around town, they keep me warmer than my columbias and sorels that are rated to -25. They are soft and comfy and I have had no problems with them getting wet. I have not worn them durring the thaw or in puddles because they are not water proof, but they are water resistant and I wear them around town in slush and they have not stained from the slush. I am getting another pair in black to match my jacket.

I LOVE these boots. I will literally be the spokesperson for them. They are so comfortable. They keep my feet really warm and dry, even in the Utah snow. I am tempted to stock up on these just in case Northface stops making them. I heard that they ran small, but they are true to size. I went a size up and should've sent them back for a smaller size, but I loved them so much I couldn't part with them.

These boots are awesome. They are so Warm and comfortable. The other morning I almost walked out with my slippers on, because I thought I had these boots on, because that's how comfortable they are. Later that day went to a tournament in a building with very little heat and everyone was talking about how cold their toes were....in the past that was me, but not this time as I was very happy to tell them, "mine are nice and toasty." Got them for 3 of my daughters as well and they love them!!!

I bought these boots in white last year. I absolutely loved them EXCEPT, the white stained so badly I could never wear them anywhere but in my own yard after walking with them through the snow and the rain.. Also after a year they now are allowing the cold and moisture to get to my feet. These were my favorite boots until this year. In my opinion super cute boots that are very comfortable, but be warned they won't hold up! So sorry not worth the price! FYI I live in NC where we get more rain than snow so not sure I would recommend if you live in a very snowy state. Sorry..........

Sooo stylish, so cute!!! They keep my feet super warm and toasty in the snow. So far no problems with water leaking through, seem pretty waterproof thus far. Also super comfortable, totally agree with the "sleeping bags" for your feet analogy. Only problem, white gets dirty. I knew this would happen but had to have the white ones because I thought they were sooo pretty, but I wish North Face sold a cleaner or something so I can keep them nice and white.

My wife loves her boots, they are so confortable and nice, since she hasn't wear outside the house yet we cannot say more, but they seems to be ok. My wife is size 9, we order size 10 and they fit perfectly.

I love them so far! I haven't gotten a real chance to see them in action (aka: snow and sleet) but they are really warm and comfortable! The heel fits slightly odd, I have to pull on the tab often, but other than that: I really recommend them! Plus I think they are as stylish as you can expect with winter boots!

I know that these boots are supposed to be water resistant, not waterproof. However, I can't even walk in the snow with them for longer than 15-20 minutes - I like to walk to work, which takes me roughly 30 minutes. Once the nylon upper gets wet it begins to leak. Don't step in puddles, don't wear them in the rain, and don't wear them for an extended period of time in the snow, especially if it is a wet, slushy snow. I would only recommend these boots if you are walking in a dry environment or will be outside for a short period of time in the snow. They will definitely keep your feet warm as long as they don't get wet. If I could return these boots I would.

these are very light and comfortable but seem to run a size smaller than normal. We had to get a size 9 when normally an 8 would fit.

These boots are awesome, not only do they look good, they arn't chunky or bulky. I feel invincible in the snow with these on, and they keep my feet really nice and warm. I bought them a half a size bigger than my own feet, and they fit great. The only annoyance, is that i'm convinced my black ones have a hint of green in them. My next purchase will be the brown ones!

I was searching for boots that didn't look so much like hiking boots. I saw these boots on various sites and this site had it for the best price! They can seem tight ( i wear 7 or 7.5) I got the 7. They seemed tight but its because they have an elastic by the ankle. I kept the 7s and they are great! Also since they are so warm and down filled i dont need thick socks so the 7s are fine. They are so light and I walked through snow and my feet were not wet at all! GREAT boots recommend them to all!

I love them. I go to college in the mountains and they are great for a cold winters day. Its a great pair of shoes for me, because I they keep my feet nice and toasty. When my feet get cold I get sick so its great to wear these boots that never let them get that way. I give them 5 stars because they are better than any Uggs or other winter boots I've ever tried. Their AMAZING!

We didn't actually keep this boot as the correct size wasn't available - we needed a womens size 12. However, NF did an exceptional job with the returns - we returned 2 different sizes, no hassles and very quick to ship the new product. We did end up with another NF style boot and we love it.

I bought my wife two pairs of boots for christmas . I thought she would like to have a choice depending on what she was wearing.She really liked both pairs. She tried the Nuptse Bootie's lll on first and that was it. She said they were the most comfortable boots she had ever had. Good looking , warm and lite and comfortable. She wears them every place , work , shopping or just for a walk in the snow. She wears them so much that I have nicknamed them the Run-abouts.She also so told me I should return the others because she loved these and would not wear the others. Her friends have all asked her where she got them so I am sure you will have some new orders soon.

Ordered 2 pairs of these boots for me and one pair for my step mom. My step-mom lives in San Diego and I live in Eugene OR. I love it. It's true to size. Though I haven't worn them in heavy rain or snow, but love the fact that it keeps my feet warm and light as feather. As someone who always have cold hands and feet I highly recommend it.

I love these boots and wear them practically everyday. My feet stay warm and the boots are super comfortable. My daughter is jealous that I didn't get her a pair. I also feel safer walking on snow and ice with these boots.I ordered my usual shoe size and they fit perfectly. Highly recommend them.

Love them!!! Keep me war and dry in the Chicago weather. I wish they had more support for walking but, good for shoveling.

The boot fit great and I could tell it would be very warm. As another reviewer pointed out though, there is no support in the ankle at all, which I need. Would be a great slipper, but not a boot for me. Too bad, cause I really liked it.

These boots are perfect for me...no spring chicken used to falling on ice a few times every winter. I'm trudging through everything very well with not a single fall yet and they are comfortable to boot (no pun intended)! It was a good choice and your speed with filling my order was great.

LOVE these boots!! Purchased them in brown/pink plaid and didn't have very high expectations. They seemed too light but the make-up of these is very deceiving. These boots are fantasitic! So comfortable that I can wear them constantly with no problem and they are extremely warm! Highly recommend these if you're looking for a great winter boot. i like the fact that i can wear my jeans over these and they still look stylish. I'm not a big fan of tucking my jeans in and these look great if i wear jeans over it. I ended up buying them in black too. :-)

I bought these boots to keep my feet warm..of course. But I am soo disappointed in them so far. I went to the Liberty Bowl Saturday and my feet FROZE! The rest of me stayed warm, but not my feet. Given it was only in the 20's but still. I thought they would be made for temps lower than that. I will give them that they are comfortable boots...but NOT WARM!! So, if you want them for comfort..buy them but if you want them to keep your feet warm..keep looking.

I really like these boots. I would not wear them out snowmobiling or any ruff activity, but to walk around in snow, they are great! They are very comfortable, and very light. Kind of a moon boot sort of thing, but better! I think it's a great boot to sport, and a good buy, no regrets.
