NSE Traction Mule - Women's

The North Face synergized the toasty comfort of a down slipper with the function of a winter boot to create the NSE Traction Mule. Slip it on when you’re resting up at basecamp. This tough and warm 500-fill down slipper isn’t grounded to the tent; the die-cut rubber outsole provides dig-in traction and the water-resistant ripstop fabric keeps your feet dry. The NSE Traction Mules will even comfort your conscience. The uppers are made of recycled plastic bottles, and the soles are constructed of 40% recycled rubber.

Bottom Line: A slipper with the soul of a boot.

When you want something you can either shove in your luggage on a trip to europe or in your back pack for an overnighter these are the best. Warm and compact and with a sole so you can get around camp without ruining them!

These are fantastic! A bit too warm when worn indoors, but when your toes need a down throw around them, these are the shoes to wear. Great traction and fully covers the foot. My only complaint is that they do run a bit small, as previously reviewed. I typically wear a 7, but had to order an 8 to fit comfortably, and can still fit a thin sock if extra warmth around the ankle and calf is needed. Definitely a great purchase!

A hair small

Just got these today, I'm typically an 8.5 in most brands, and a 9 in some and since there weren't any half sizes, I just went for the nine, and I'm surprised to say they're a tad tight, not uncomfortably so, but I probably wouldn't be able to wear socks underneath them if I wanted to... anyways, they're quite warm and nice to wear around the house.

Super warm, comfy, and does well even in the rain. Love how lightweight they are making it easy for backpacking. Real shoe bottoms are great for tough terrain; however, foot slides off the base and all over the place. Unable to use on any terrain other than flat b/c of this and rolling off the side of the shoe or even better rolling your ankle. We love the shoe, but are disappointed that we can't use it for backpacking d/t the lack of side support--our crocs would've done a better job on the hills. Great car camping/house shoe.
