You’ve gone through more socks than a first grade puppet show. Save your socks, and your feet. Slip into the NSE Tent Bootie IV from The North Face and experience foot nirvana. The 700-fill down surrounds your foot in sweet luxury and warmth. The rubberized grips on the sole will help keep you from sliding around at basecamp, the internal ankle-securing elastic will help keep this bootie from sliding down your foot, and the high-ankle design means this bootie slides easily under your down snowpants or over the cuffs of your long underwear bottoms . The environment wins in this set up too; the uppers are made of 100% P.E.T. from recycled plastic bottles.

Bottom Line: Warm winter bootie.

Hanna, agree with Hunter. I looked at my wifes slippers and couldn't find a tag about washing. They make special down detergent that might be worth looking into and they need to be handwashed or on the gentle cycle as Hunter suggested. The agitator can destroy down products. I like to dry my down products on the fluff cycle and toss in a few new tennis balls to help retore the loft.

Hanna,

Definitely maybe. I wash my 800 fill down jacket by Marmot and it has not affected the material or the jacket's performance. Using a gentle cycle, not using fabric softener, and air-drying it will be the safest way to go about cleaning them.

Read labels very, very carefully!

Happy trails!

Warm and toasty

By:

Took 'em down the Colorado with me and they were the only thing that finally warmed my feet up after swimming a major rapid in a rain storm. Not that you should use them on the boat! But in camp they helped me feel truly warm for the first time all day, and I suffer from cold feet so it was a major accomplishment!

Wife LOVES them!

I bought these for my wife and she loves them! Sometimes TNF is tough to size but these fit pretty true. They not only look hot but keep her feet super cozy and comfortable. Great for wearing around the house and the soles allow for anyone to walk outside if needs be. Great purchase.
