indoor slipper bootie!

These are awesome for mainly indoor (inside tents or houses in the winter) use, or outdoors on dry ground--they don't have a thick sole for outdoor use in snow or wet ground, but I've used them winter camping where I run to go pee or something (but mainly stay on dry ground) and they stay perfectly dry and warm.

wear to ski hill, also

I'd say its time for Ingrid to start pushing the limits...of these bad-jacksons, that is. While they don't have any 'traction' so to speak, I love rockin them while driving to any snow/ice related adventure...I would certainly hop out of my truck while making a pit stop at the gas station. Of course they are pretty heavenly to put on after taking off your snow/ice-sports footwear. AND, unlike other footwear you leave in your truck, these won't be freezing cold at the end of the day. Obviously I have pushed their 'outdoors' limits and gotten into a little slush (that was back in vermont, my foolish college years... where I am now in montana it's not an issue). No big deal though, the freestyle run in these booties was worth it to see just how crazy I could get. So, by all means, wear them on snow...even a few inches of fresh won't get in because of that cuff around the ankle. My only problem is I lost one of them so if any of ya'll have an extra...I think I am going to buy the boy's nuptse bootie so I can wear them walking the dog no matter what (they cost 30$ less than the 'women's' and will work as long as you are a size 8 or smaller, according to my calculations...also have better colors, not pastels-- yucky)

Run small. I wear a size 9 Womans and ordered a small (followed size chart) and they were too small. I am waiting for the next size. I will let you know how I like them when I get the correct size. :o)

Indoor use

By:

I bought a pair for my sister and she loves them.
She uses them at home as slippers and it keeps her feet warm and nice around the house or when sleeping. She digs the color (brown-pink) and the fact that they are made of recycled material. Size M fits her feet nicely (she uses 10,5 in sneakers) and is very comfortable.

i goth the tent mule with fur and it is true to size. i wear a 8 and the medium fit just fine. my husband is on his second pair of tent booties. he had the red ones and i just bought him a second pair because he had worn out the first pair. He says the size is true and fits well. backcountry is great and i buy most of my northface gear from them. the customer service is superior and the inventory is plentiful. i have never had a problem with the products. my husband loves his north face tent booties and i love my tent booties and mules too.

Warm, cushy, but...

By:

I bought these as a gift for my wife (I have the Baffin model which is better and cheaper). She loves the warmth, comfort and color, but the elastic cuff irritates her ankle when she doesn't wear socks. She rolls the cuff over and has no complaints.
