I normally wear a 00P or 0P as I'm 5'0" and 100lbs. The size 0 was roomy, yet workable due to the drawstring. The fabric of these capris is just stretchy enough for comfortable climbing. I am fully satisfied for the price I paid. Photo shows the capris rolled into shorts on the left.
Cute, but stretched out almost immediately and were hanging off in an oh so not flattering way. Returned. For comparison, I usually take a 6. 5'3" and 133 lbs. A 4 would've stretched into the perfect size...
Runs a full size too small
I agree with the other reader these run so small!! Im 5'7, 127, my dress pants are size two, usually a four in jeans..I ordered these in a four and the leg fit fine, but I could barely button them. I was also expecting the fabric to be a lot thinner (its more of a lightweight canvas), so I am not going to try a size 6. The stretch is fantastic though, they just don't meet my summer climbing needs.
Order a size up! I ordered by the measurements in the size chart and when they arrived they wouldn't button. Other than being too small, I liked the look and the fabric was soft. Wish they were the right size
The North Face Capri Pant
I really love the length on these, they are actually in between a capri and shorts length and hit right at my knee. The drawcord waist is great, I have a hard-to-fit body, my waist is smaller than a normal waistband so I look for the drawcord so I can adjust it. I like these so much I have 5 pair now.
