There's no jacket more versatile than a 3-in-1.

With its 3-in-1 design, The North Face Girls' Mountain View Triclimate Jacket will protect her from the cold so she can focus on more important things, like linking all her turns or hitting her first park feature. The HyVent 2L waterproof outer shell and fully taped seams keep her dry while remaining breathable, whether she's in a snowstorm on the slopes or in downpour on a cool autumn hike. The removable cozy fleece liner keeps her nice and toasty on its own during spring camping trips and bus rides to school, and it adds a layer of warmth when she wears it with the shell on the slopes. The cozy polyester fleece liner can either zip or snap into the outer jacket.

  • HyVent 2L shell, fully taped seams
  • Removable polyester fleece liner jacket
  • Zip- and snap-in compatible
  • Fixed hood
  • Zippered hand pockets
  • Adjustable drawcord at hem
  • Adjustable cuff tabs

Light weight jacket packs a punch!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

We live in MN where it gets to be anywhere from -20 to -50 degrees (with wind chills). I had my misconceptions after receiving this jacket and feeling it. This jacket, though very lightweight, keeps my daughter nice an warm. On the really breezy days, we put a sweater on. But for the most part she wears her long sleeve t-shirts and this Jacket and it is still warm.

This girl is killin it! She's such a babe. Can you tell she likes TNF gear? Haha

I bought her this jacket and the Free Course Triclimate pant. They worked perfect together. Keep her warm and really offer a good experience of comfort while out in the flakes. It's a true size for her being tall and thin and going up a size accordingly.

Gloves are The North Face Montana Girls' Gloves. Hat is hard to see but she also never takes that off, it's the The North Face Cable Minna girls' Beanie. If it's really cold she also throws on her The North Face Surgent Pullover Hoodie or The North Face Perseus Reversible Fleece Jacket.

Perfect fit

My daughter is also tall and thin so was wondering what size did you decide for your daughter and how tall is she? My daughter is 5'3 age 12. I'm trying to decide to go youth or adult size for her. Thank you.

Hey! I apologize I never saw the notification for this. So with her height and also being thin I would go a size up. It's going to be a loose in the hip area but it does offer a drawcord to cinch if needed. I would say with her height an XLarge but I think with her mass and frame it would drown her. In my opinion I would try a Large and XLarge and return whatever doesn't work. Chat in and we can set up a free return for you for purchasing both sizes as well.

Have to love those long legged girls :)
