Solid pants for snow or rain

I have had some version or other of these pants since the mid-1990's and they have never failed to perform in inclement conditions. I have spent days in and out of these in winter backpacking trips, living in deep snow the whole time. The built-in snow gaiter is a plus in the snow. I have tested products for Gore-Tex, although I bought these long before that began, and these are a solid product for the money. Recommended.

    Too large

    • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it

I bought this pant because a trip to Peru, I pick medium size and was too large.

    I have to return.

Also I not check that is non-insulated and I needed.

I love North Face but some stuff need to try in person or use backcountry chat recommedations.

It would have been most helpful had carp8581 provided his height, weight & waist size. Unfortunately, a generic "too large" tells us nothing. If carp8581 reviews his review and this question, thanks in advance for providing this information.

Didn't this pant used to be called the "Liberator" ski pant? I owned it and didn't care for the fact that it had no "venting" zips on inner or outer thighs.
