Tough nylon Taslan shell fabric shields the HyVent 3L waterproof breathable membrane on the inside, while cowhide leather treated with 3M Scotchgard waterproof treatment on the palms offers both grip and durability to extend to the life of your gloves. A removable fleece glove adds warmth and allows you to take off the main glove for increased dexterity, without completely exposing your fingers to the hand-numbing cold that is found so often at high-altitudes. To let you fiddle with things and not worry about losing your gloves, The North Face also added convenient, removable wrist leashes.
