I bought this sweater for my 13-year-old son, who hates the static of fleece and who was having trouble fitting his bulky cotton sweatshirts under his parka. This is actually the second color I got for him. He loved the first one so much (in a kind of orangy brick color) that I waited until I found the sweater on sale in black. It's very attractive and soft, and it washes well in the machine (though I dry it flat).

I am really happy with this sweater. It is warm and great looking to boot. As with all North face items I have owned, the craftsmanship is top-notch as well. I have gotten more than one compliment on this one.

This is a really nice looking sweater, easily worn to pretty nice events because the logo is the same color as the shirt and doesn't show up so well. The fit is a little funky, like most north face stuff, but overall it works pretty well
