Warm, waterproof, and wicked awesome.
Hit the snowy slopes this winter with your hands wrapped up cozily in the The North Face Women's Montana Etip Gloves. A waterproof and breathable HyVent insert keeps your hands dry in the snowiest storms without causing sweat to build up, and the durable nylon shell makes sure you have the Montana for multiple seasons. 150g Heatseeker insulation keeps your palms nice and toasty while 200g warms the back of your hand during the coldest ski sessions. The plush polyester lining keeps your hands comfortably cozy even when the wind's howling and the snow's blowing sideways. Lastly, the synthetic leather palm helps you hold on to your ski poles without tearing or getting worn out.
The North Face constructed the Montana from the inside out using its proprietary 5 Dimensional Fit, which helps ensure consistent sizing, and designed it with Radiametric Articulation, so the glove will follow your hand's natural position for comfort. The full-coverage gauntlet keeps snow off your wrists and closes with a cinch, and the removable Wrist Oven leash lets you place a handwarmer in the gauntlet to bring some extra heat for seriously frigid ski sessions. Last but not least, The North Face included its Etip touchscreen functionality, so you can snap photos and answer calls without exposing your fingers to the elements.

- Q & A
Not as expected
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: XS
These are not warm. I was outside in the them for less than 15 minutes in dry conditions of about 40 degrees and my hands were freezing. I struggle with gloves, as my hands are always cold even with layering systems. If you tend to run warm, these would probably be ok, but if you have perpetually cold hands, try something else.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: Runs large
I got these gloves for my trip to Alaska in October. They worked really great, kept my hands warm the whole time I was there. I got the size small. However, they seem a little bit big for my hands. The touch screen feature is really nice!
