The North Face Momentum Hybrid 1/4-Zip Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's - 2008 BCS

I got this top for my trip to Italy and Scotland in May. It is fairly warm and a great cover up when the weather gets cold then the sun comes out and you need to tie it around your waist. I ordered the green and it is like an olive/army green w/ black that looks cute. I like the over the thumb feature and little zip pocket for keys on the sleeve. It is comfortable. I ordered a medium as I am 5'9 and the arm length and body fits well. I am not all that pleased w/ the way it holds up though and washes. It has lines running down it now w/ black coming through the green material which is a little odd for NorthFace. I would recommend it but maybe in a color where that won't show up.

I was looking for a North Face TKA 1/2 zip fleece but I couldn't see any colors I liked. So I opted for this as a second choice with no great expectations. I couldn't figure out what the material was like (let's face it, it reads like the back of a can of soup) or whether the fit was likely to run big or small. I went with my regular size, medium, and I have to say I think this in my new favorite top. I think it's incredibly versatile- for all activities or even just for casual wear. The black bits in the photo are actually mesh so if you warm up, they keep your temperature regulated. Even in cold weather the rest of the top has the loveliest fine fleece to keep you just toasty without being over hot. It's very comfortable as the outer material has plenty of stretch but it's not one of those tops that hugs at all your problem areas. The arms are plenty long and the thumb hooks come to just below the knuckles. I'd definitely get this again in a different color.

I'm new to the scene of outdoors/backpacking gear & I chose this as one of only five or six layers I'm taking w/ me to Spain on a backpacking trip. I got a good idea of what it would be like from the reviews and when I saw it in person, I fell in love with it. Very light, warm, and it looks fantastic on. I'm usually an extra small and got a small to accommodate room for layering beneath, and it's a little roomy on me but it still looks great, so it's perfect. The color is indeed a little richer/darker than shown in the picture but not by much; it's a rich forest (NOT hunter!) green. I love the collar and the zip-pouch on the arm, it fits my 5th generation iPod nano PERFECTLY. <3 Love it, I'm sure I'll have it for a very long time.

This is a great value for a versatile weight shirt. Haven't been skiing with it yet, but it seems like it would insulate well. True to size and nicely tapered fit. I may order another one in white. Even with free shipping it arrived within a couple of days

This shirt is cut really well. I usually wear a women's size 8 and the medium fit perfectly. The material is warm but super lightweight and breathes incredibly well. It's nice that the sleeves are long enough for the thumb holes to fit comfortably instead of pulling awkwardly. I got the merlot red and the picture is pretty true to the real color.

This shirt is really nice but I guess I was expecting something more with a sweatshirt-type material to it, and the green is really green where I thought it would be more of a washed-out green color. Since I didn't think I'd wear it much, I'm returning it. But the overall quality of it is terrific! Wouldn't expect any less on that part from NF.

excellent quality, a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. Perfect for my ski trips!

I seriously wear this piece just about every day. I wear it to the gym over my workout clothes, or it's awesome for running in cooler weather too. Really comfortable, I would say it runs a tad on the large side. I'm 5'4" 130 and a medium is barely too big. Really cozy though, love the thumb loops and key pocket on the sleeve.
