Pick up your hiking pace in the lightweight North Face Men's Momentum Shoes. With cushiony support and breathable fabric, these trail shoes keep your feet comfortable throughout your treks. Open-cell air mesh keeps your feet cool as you gain altitude, and an antimicrobial footbed helps control sweaty-foot smells. The North Face's multi-directional rubber outsole gives you traction on rocky terrain, and the Momentum Shoes' gusseted tongue stays in place as you hop over fallen branches.
Bottom Line: Gain Momentum in the lightweight North Face Shoes.
The shoe seems to be sturdy. It is definitely a high volume shoe, I need to wear super thick sock to achieve my required responsiveness. I will most likely end up using this as a casual a shoe and not for hiking. This shoe is average.
It is a very light and comfortable shoe which can be used for light hikes or walking. No complaints. Would buy another pair to keep as a spare once it wears out.

Perfect for the scenic day hikes that fill the gaps in between the big trips with lots of weight and big boots. Light, comfortable and plus grip make this a good buy.
Perfect fit and comfort. The North Face is almost always a great choice. I love the looks and have worn these shoes every day since Christmas. I went hiking twice in the first week of owning them. The grip on rocky surfaces was the best I've experienced in a light weight hiking shoe. Will probably be getting another pair on the same. Too good not to own a 2nd pair.
These light hiking shoes were exactly what I was looking for. Although I'm not using them for trail use they work great in the frozen tundra I encounter each day. They are very light weight and breathe very well. In fact the new shoes smell is still present. Overall these are great shoes for outdoor hiking even if you live in Michigan where winter last 8 months. I would highly recommend the North Face brand for hiking boots because they'll last forever!
Bought these mainly as a hiker, but they fit so well, feel so good, and look so good that I can wear them just about anywhere. Wore them one day to walk around the mall for several hours, and then wore them the next day while hiking up Hanging Rock. Performed excellent in both conditions, providing great support, cushioning, and grip. Good shoe!
Very comfortable shoes. My feet stayed cool in 90 degree heat. I would recommend ordering half a size smaller. I'm usually a 10.5 in. and the 10's I ordered fit well.
I love these shoes! They grip everything so well and they just feel perfect on my feet. I wear an 11, so I ordered an 11, but it was a touch too big. I decided to keep them because I usually wear thicker socks - they fit well now. I have narrow feet, so pretty much every shoe is a problem for me. I love these, though. I wear them running and mt. biking. I feel very confident with my footing when wearing these shoes. They're light, breathe well, look good, and perform superbly. Buy them!
True fit, feels comfortable, and lightweight. Everyone was surprised that The North Face made shoes. The ventilation kept my sweaty feet surprisingly dry. Although the dirt will leak through the mesh after hiking for a few hours in loose dirt/sand. But I'm sure this goes for all shoes with mesh. Seems a little looser on the toe end. This caused some blistering or maybe my feet are just prone to blisters regardless of shoes.
I loved these shoes. I wore them canoeing in the Boundary Waters. When I got them wet they didn't hold the water and they dried quickly. The tread was more than enough to hold the terrain. Very comfortable.
I'm not a fan of the North Face Momentum shoes. Either my foot is just the wrong size for TNF, or they didn't make these for regular feet. I pretty much always wear a 10 or 10.5. To make these shoes fit volume-wise, I had to go with 9.5, but then my toes were touching the front. I ended up swapping them for 10's and they are sloppy as all get out. These shoes are super uncomfortable and my feet pull away from the insoles with every step. I wish I had never bought these shoes.
