Put on the waterproof, insulated Missoula Pull-On Boot from The North Face before you run out to thaw your engine block and plow the neighborhood. The last thing you want first thing in the morning is a wet, soon-to-be-frozen foot, so The North Face included a HydroSeal membrane to keep out all melting snow and slush puddles that try to penetrate the BLC-compliant full-grain leather upper.

  • 200g PrimaLoft Eco insulation ensures toasty toes regardless of the sub-zero temps and crunchy snow
  • Northotic footbed with Poron inserts cradle your foot with strategically placed cushioning for the days you’re on your feet for hours
  • EVA foam midsole and two-third-length steel shank provide comfort and stability over rough, unpredictable terrain covered in snow
  • Winter-specific, non-marking carbon rubber outsole grips the streets and trails despite the refrozen snow
  • Side stretch goring and a back heel strap allow easy on-off for quick, mud-free trips to utilize your indoor plumbing
  • Rubber toe cap resists scuffs and abrasions while you kick around ice chunks and rocks

Bottom Line: Quick, warm, and waterproof boot that leaves eco-friendly footprints in the snow.

good looking but very slippery

I got these boots for my husband who is picky about shoes after moving here from Europe. He likes them very much style wise but he doesn't want to wear them any more because they are very slippery. He fell once during rain time on wet steps and slips non stop on snow. Otherwise they are good looking, kind of warm and definitively water proof boots. He is returning them

I have been looking at these boot for a while. I'm not really

I have been looking at these boot for a while. I'm not really interested in the winter wear ability... I just want a rugged all purpose pull on boot. These look like they may fit the bill, but I keep reading how warm they are. I know they are insulated, but how insulated? I live in Southern California and don't have much need for a winter boot. I'm worried my feet will feel like they are in an oven with these boots. The worst weather these will probably see is rain and some mud, no blizzards here. Anyone care to clear this up a bit for me?

This may sound crazy. But before I buy and shoes I need to try them on. From my experience first hand is the best hand.

Great Boots

These boots are amazing. I was a bit hesitent to buy them due to the price, now that I own them I would pay a lot more! They are so comfortable, they are light as a feather. Look amazing.

Pull on with ease and your foot doesnt slide around in them.

they are true to size.

I love them, if you are considering getting them stop shopping around and buy them. shipping was pretty fast as well with the free standard shipping option.

How wide are these boots? I wear EE and usually have to go up

How wide are these boots? I wear EE and usually have to go up a full size to get the right width. But if the shoes are a bit narrow -- like most Keen's shoes are -- then I would have to go up 1.5 to 2 sizes.

I find The North Face boots to run pretty wide. They also pack out a bit after about a month, so I would not upsize - not more then 1/2 a size anyway.

These boots are not only comfortable and warm but they are stylish enough that they can be worn in a professional environment. They are also easy to slip on and off. Overall, these are a great boot!
