Decent just Ugly

These are good solid socks they're just ugly as heck. The band around the top makes me feel like I'm back in the 80's tube sock era. The elastic band at the top is a bit excessive, I think they should have made that area a little bit thinner. But as for performance they are the usual solid well built gear we see from TNF all the time. Good sock but there are more aesthetically pleasing socks out there.

I've had these socks for a couple of long trips through the backcountry and I'm pleased with their performance. I have not had to deal with any bunching blisters. They wick moisture well and keep my toes warm even after pouncing through cold water (not by choice). the stitching and craftsmanship seem to be above par and I'm thinking I may have to get some more of these bad-boys sometime soon!
