Looks good

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I have it in black and Weimaraner brown in Small. I could have went with Medium but they didn't have any in those colors at that time. I am 5'10 190lbs (muscular) so its a bit tight. It looks very good, tissue is super comfy and it doesnt seem to keep odors that much.

Wanted to love it

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I saw somewhat mixed reviews, but decided to give it a shot.

The Good
- The cut (all the seems were in the right place)
- The fabric (sleek and keeps you cool)
- The plastic buttons (different but didn't look odd)

What killed the deal and resulted in a return
- The zip pocket (zipper sticks out, pocket flaps about under the shirt, and when pressed against your chest it displays a Visable P(ocket) Line on your chest)

If TNF only made this without the pocket I'd buy 10. As is, I can't justify owning 1.

Nice looking polo!

This is a great piece- perfect for work, (if you are not a lawyer, banker, or any other suit and tied kind of guy)great fitting, I love the breathablity and the styling of this shirt. This is another piece that I'll probably buy all of the colors. When you find the best, why mess with the rest?

in Pix 3 you can see that the water stain has spread to a larger area. Indicating that the special fabric helps to absorb perspiration and spread it to allow quick drying.

ADDENDUM : Just adding some words after using this for over 2 months. I liked it so much i bought another one in Black.

I have to say i am very impressed with this polo shirt. It is more durable than it looks. After more than 2 months of regular use, there is neither a fray on the fabric. While it isnt recommended - i can safely say you can wear this shirt for a few days and it would not stink at all.

I did a non-scientific test. Check out the pictures i included.

In Pix 1 is a close up of the fabric. Notice it has a horizontal design detail.

Fitted, looks good and sharp!

Great polo for work. Fitted, on the smaller side, been told it looks a little metro. I always buy a small in northface but probably could have gone with a medium. I don't mind the snaps instead of the typical buttons. The colar tends to lay funny but it's do-able. I like it, I'd buy another And recommend it...

Weimaraner Brown!

I am 5feet 11inches tall, 155 pounds average build. I ordered a size "S".
I live in singapore where the weather is mostly HOT & HUMID.

I wanted a shirt that 1) Durable 2) Quick Dry 3) Some anti-odor treatment & 4) Looks good.
This shirt has ALL the above.

Been using this shirt for 3 weeks now.

I love that they decided to keep the logo in the same color tone as the shirt. I move around a lot during my work and carry a backpack.I can say this shirt is durable. The material is knit tight and smooth. It does not snag. Perspiration is quickly absorbed and dries up. The shirt is said to have MINERALE treatment. I think it definitely works because there is no hint of odor at all even after an entire day outdoors. To test this i usually wear the shirt twice a week before washing it. The plastic snap buttons are a real convenience. Probably the only thing i wish they would change - is to remove the zip pocket. Personally i do not need it nor have i used it.

I just ordered the HYDRY polo also from TNF. WIll be testing how good that one is.

Overall i like this shirt a lot and at this price its good value!

Plastic snap buttons

Great shirt, but it fits a bit on the smaller size. I tend to run into this a lot with shirts...being in between a Small or Medium, typically TNF runs big and I'm safe with buying a Small. I'm 5'8" 150lbs and usually wear TNF t-shirts in a Small quite comfortably. This shirt however, was pretty snug all around and wouldn't be something I would want to walk around in all day. I also wasn't a huge fan of the oversized plastic snap-button look...it looks a little cheap and cheesy. The zip pocket isn't tape welded to the fabric on the inside, so its just floating there like a front pocket on a pair of pants...this didn't leave for a very presentable chest image. The pocket issue however, may have been adverted if I sized up to a Medium.
