The North Face Features & Highlights

The Steep Series

Developed with big-mountain riders like Ingrid Backstrom and Xavier De Le Rue in mind, The North Face Steep Series collection is built for logging vertical and slaying big lines. Jackets and pants in this line, including the Free Thinker, NFZ, Sickline, and the new Fuse Brigantine are tough, highly protective, and equipped with all the features that serious skiers and riders look for in their apparel.

Thermoball Insulation

The North Face’s Thermoball is a breakthrough in insulation technology. Developed in collaboration with PrimaLoft, it’s synthetic insulation that’s engineered with clusters that mimic the filament structure of down. It successfully combines the warmth, compressibility and barely-there weight of 600-fill down with the ability of synthetic insulation to provide warmth even when it’s wet. Thermoball technology is now available in a wide range of The North Face products, from ski jackets and technical insulating pieces to casual city wear and boots.

FuseForm Technology

FuseForm Technology makes The North Face's jackets lighter and more durable than ever, without sacrificing weather protection. FuseForm garments feature integrated variable abrasion resistance that drastically reduces the number of seams, while still offering extra protection in high-wear areas. And whichever FuseForm jacket you choose, it's built with TNF's Hyvent waterproof breathable tech so you know you'll be covered when you're facing down Mother Nature's worst.

Mountain Athletics

What do you train for? Whether it's reaching summits, shaving minutes off a 5k or putting more miles on your bike, The North Face Mountain Athletics gives you the gear and tools you need to reach your goals.

The North Face: Your Land

Exploration is not just about the places you haven't been, it's about re-imagining places you have. "Your Land" is a celebration of these wild places that connect us to our environment, and to each other. Head outside, find a new approach, and #SeeForYourself.
