Description

All ice station personnel, report to the kitchen for hot chocolate!

The North Face Toddler Boys' McMurdo Parka Features a toasty 550 down and is named after the McMurdo ice-station in Antarctica, where only the warmest of coats are worn. While your toddler may not be checking ice-stations or dog-sledding, he is spending time in the cold and having all sorts of adventures. The McMurdo's insulated hood features removable faux fur for braving cold winds and a longer length to keep the snow out.

I was unimpressed by the over all appearance of the jacket. The faux fur was really disappointing. Even the faux fur I've got on my daughters Gap jackets are much nicer, fuller, and were half the price. I washed the jacket hoping the fur would come alive but no such luck. The rest of the jacket fairs well. It's a good quality warm jacket. One part I found disappointing was the velcro on the cuffs of the arms. They easily stick to my technical clothing as Im putting the jacket on my son as we head out the door. My son likes the jacket so we kept it. It's a nice jacket, but in my opinion, no where near worth what its retail value is.
