Not quite the same as bringing your own bed along, but close.

Bring along The North Face Liner Bag when you’re staying at a hostel of questionable cleanliness or you need to bump up the warmth in your sleeping bag. Softer and warmer than a silk liner, this polyester fleece bag also features a pillow pocket that you can stuff with clothes for a good night’s sleep.

Not Worth The money.

While this is a great liner and it fits well in a bag I comparison to cheaper alternatives it's not worth it. I currently use a $20 Ozark Trail job from (forgive me) Wal Mart. It works just as well. I ended up sending this back after I used it once because I couldn't notice a difference. Bottom line if you just need a liner, go for something cheaper.

Walmart has a decent offering for camping, especially with the Coleman
line which is very reliable. Northface is is great but always expensive.

what's the improvement in low temp with this liner?

Responded on

I have never seen a temperature range posted about liners but most folks claim about 10 degrees.

How many degrees does this add to a sleep system?

The Sea To Summit Reactor (item# STS 0085) will add 15 degrees, and the Reactor Extreme adds 25 degrees. They make fantastic gear, and if that's what they claim, I have no reason to doubt that their liners perform to specs.

Responded on

The reactors cost way too much and everyone says they are not that warm. You need to suggest something you've tried!

The reactor extreme is a good liner, I was hesitant at first but when paired with a sleeping bag it adds warmth for sure. By itself it hardly does anything so it would be decent for summer. Packs to about the size of an eno double nest
