Works well as a basic top
Since this is a base layer I expected it to fit tightly, but it was so tight I couldn't even get it on. I otherwise use Smartwool base layers and maybe because those tops have more stretch I can fit those with no problem. I had to exchange my usual XS for a S. For reference I'm 5'4" and around 120lbs. As an earlier comment mentioned the sleeves can be tight if your arms are more muscular or larger. I recently gained some muscle but thankfully I can still wear this top without feeling too constricted. I would consider getting this in a M in the future if I need to replace it. The torso part is very flattering otherwise. I got this top as a moisture wicking layer for work and for running errands.

My current favorite
This is my absolute favorite to layer underneath an Agave jacket for an outdoor winter workout. It keeps me warm without overheating. Size wise, it's form fitting yet surprisingly flattering so it can pass for a casual shirt with jeans. The eggplant and rabbit grey colors are quite nice, as well.

Good light baselayer
Bought this base layer for a recent trip. It's pretty fitted, so size up if you want to wear on it's own. I was wearing as a true base layer, so that didn't bother me. My only issue with this item is the length - it was shorter than everything I wore over it and not long enough to tuck in for those who tuck. For reference, I'm 5'5".

A Second Skin, Only Warmer
Fits snugly, as I wanted, but without being restricting. Provides a great base layer, and feels nice against the skin. Keeps me warm without bulking out my profile. Excellent.

So flattering!
Very flattering top!! Was searching for a casual North Face top to wear around house, errands, etc. This is perfect! Sleeves are a little tight (but I have bigger arms). Length is perfect to go past jeans/yoga pants perfectly.

Good product!
I purchased two of this shirt in different colors (black and plum). When it comes to colors, the plum was different from what is shown on website. I thought it was bright magenta, but the real shirt is in deep plum (similar to burgandy or marsala color). Other than that, I like the fit.
