I got this jacket for Christmas. I was deciding between the Aconcagua and this La Paz. Lots of friends have the Aconcagua and I see it in the stores a lot. Totally glad I went with the La Paz! The diamond design is smaller, it's super lightweight down and super sporty. The other coat is heavy and seems bulky with the silky fabric that spots easily. This is the perfect mid weight jacket. It also zips into my Triclimate. Love love love it! Oh! And it's waterproof. Bonus! And the best part is...everyone's not wearing it! I hate the cookie cutter look. Get it! You won't be sorry!

This is a classy , not bulky, but very warm comfy coat. I only wish I would have found it last year!

I ordered this jacket 2 days ago and just received it!
Prior to ordering it I was concerned which size would be best. I'm 5'6 and about 112 lbs. I bought the black Small and it's perfect! The sleeves are plenty long and shoulders are ample. I love the sheen of the material. Now I just have to hope it will be warm enough for our trip to Colorado for New Years!!

Lightweight and lovely! I ordered this for next winter, but have already gotten a lot of wear out of it. My only concern is the material used for the binding on the sleeves. It snagged the first time I wore the jacket. Hopefully the rest of the jacket will prove to be more durable.
