Manufacturers often design softshells with few features, if any. We can't think of a place where having a few extra comforts matters more than miles from civilization. Extras like a powder skirt, media pockets, and core vents are often ditched in the name of saving a few grams. This is not the case with The North Face Women's Komper Softshell Jacket. On top of clean, backcountry style,  soft, breathable, and weather-resistant softshell fabric, and a touch of insulation, the Komper is packing a full array of features to keep you fully outfitted on your next tour.

The Komper softshell jacket features TNF ClimateBlock fabric, The North Face's windproof, most protective softshell. Insulation duties are taken care of by Heatseeker synthetic, with a little more at the core than in the sleeves for mobility. The jacket features a helmet-compatible removable hood, two zippered hand pockets, an internal media pocket, and adjustable cuff tabs to lock out icy drafts and snow. The jacket also includes vents to allow you to quickly regulate your core temperature, a wrist accessory pocket with an included goggle wipe, and an internal goggle pocket to protect your eyewear, and a snap-back powder skirt with gripper elastic for when the snow gets deep.
