Drier than a fire.
You could try and use The North Face Kindling Women's Jacket to start a fire when you're huddling up against the rain, but it's more useful as a rain-blocking layer when you're cruising downtown. The DryVent two-layer membrane is weatherproof without making you feel swampy, and the drawcord hood covers your head when the weather really gets bad. A storm flap protects the zipper from extended precipitation, and the Kindling's back vent also helps you stay cool if the day is soggy and warm at the same time.

My mother loves the extra room in the shoulder area and under the arms, it makes for easy movement when driving. Great length, light weight but warm and blocks the wind. she has the blue and loves the color.

this jacket is great. fits perfectly. i am 5'7'', 120lbs and i ordered a small. the arms are long enough which is a plus. I was hesitant about ordering from this website because of all the bad reviews i encountered online but i am really glad that i took the risk because this jacket was cheapest on this website and i received it a day earlier than expected. free shipping. doesn't get any better. before ordering, i also chatted with one of their representatives on the website and i forget her name but she was really helpful. overall a great experience and i will definitely order from this website in the future. 10/10 would recommend. haha now i am just waiting for it to rain so i can wear it out.
also, one feature of the jacket that is not included in the description is the inner pocket, presumably for a cell phone or music player because there is also a small slot for headphones to come through. at least thats what i will be using it for lol. and i ordered the yellow and it is b e a utiful.

I wear North Face all the time in M - this jacket ran very small through the shoulders and chest area. Unfortunately, I'll need to return it as the rest of the jacket fits fine and I think a large will not be proportioned properly for me.
Exactly what I needed
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Size Bought: Large
It exactly what I wanted and needed. Fits perfectly!
