The North Face Men's Kichatna Jacket is highly breathable for the backcountry, and Gore-Tex Pro ensures waterproofing wherever you ski. Its fully taped Gore-Tex Pro membrane is proven to provide 28% more breathability without hindering its waterproof and windproof protection in harsh environments. The North Face also added Gore's Micro Grid Backer for snag resistance, increased breathability, and a smooth texture that slides over midlayers without bulk.

The Kichatna also features PU-coated zippers for extra water-resistance that most ski jackets don't have. You can remove the powder skirt for hardpack days, and zippered underarm vents let out excess heat when you're skinning to the summit. The adjustable hood either slides over your helmet or cinches snugly around your beanie. There are also low-profile non-abrasive cuffs and a hidden hem cinch-cord to completely seal out cold drafts. The North Face added grip zones at the shoulders to stabilize backpacks.
