I got this fleece to zip into my tri-climate jacket after the fleece that came with it was just a little too thin for very cold weather (original was 100 weight). The jacket is great. I have worn it underneath the waterproof shell and alone, and either way it is warm and comfortable.

I'm trying to decide if I should get a XS or S. I am 5 ft 4 and 118lbs. Don't want it baggy and won't wear a lot of bulk under it. Thoughts??

My bet is an XS would work. Have you checked out the sizing chart next to the "Select Options" dropdown menu? They are fairly accurate. Best of luck!

I would also suggest an XS. My wife wears a Small, and she is 5'5 and weights 140lbs. She absolutely loves this jacket, and only has amazing things to report.

The arms are very long and narrow. Even if my arms had also been long and narrow, there wouldn't have been room to wear much under this jacket. I had to return it. The material feels artificial, like it is made of some kind of plastic fiber, slightly sparkly.
Wish I had one in every color!

HELP me figure out the right size for my wife! She's all over the place on the sizing chart: 33 chest (s), 29 waist (m) 33 hip (xs) She does NOT want to wear anything bulky under it, but also doesn't want it to be tight. She has a shortish torso and short arms (usually wears petite sizes). She is 5'4", 120lbs. I'm leaning toward XS, but maybe S???? Help! :-)

Hey hey! I'd go with the small to be safe on the bust, and if it ends up being way too big we will swap it out for you. Here is my logic on it: If you get the XS and she can't get it zipped over her bust, it is a no go at all. If you get it a little loose but perfect fit over the bust, it is wearable.
Love it!

I love this jacket! It's not too heavy but definitely keeps me warm when it's chilly outside. It's honestly hard to take it off so sometimes I keep it on while lounging around the house. :)

The colors are beautiful and the fleece fabric warm. Sizing is poor, large is small and slim. Not designed for mid size women.

For layering, it's a tough call, but you may be better off with a S, even though it could be a touch baggy. Have you checked out the sizing chart? They are pretty accurate, and can be a good resource when deciding. Best of luck!

I am 5ft. 5" and 135 Lb. I got a medium and it fits perfect. They are not a fitted jacket and roomy so I think the xl would be way to big for you.
Awesome deal!

Ive been wanting a TNF fleece for a while. I live in Illinois and am looking for something lightweight but still warm enough to kick around in when its 30 degrees out. I hate wearing bulky coats. Will the Khumbu do the trick? What does the Denali have over the Khumbu? Also trying to figure out sizing... 5'5 143 do i go with a M or L?

Order a Medium

I would also say order a medium. I am your size and ordered a small, which fits snug. I'm in the process of researching to see if a medium would fit better. The sleeve length is really long and I have long arms, so I think a large would definitely be too big for you.

Ordered the Women's North Face Khumbu Fleece Jacket in TNF Black. The jacket I received is Gray, definitely not black!

The black is not a true midnight black. The color leans toward a grayish hue.

I purchased the jacket in TNF Black, and though it is a more faded black color, I am still very satisfied with the look. The fleece is super soft and warm. The price was great, even better than what I found on eBay! I also received the jacket two days after I made the purchase thanks to the free 2-day shipping.

I initially purchased this jacket in black and was really disappointed with how faded it was. I now have the Kodiak Blue and am MUCH more pleased! I have yet to test it out, but wearing it in the house....I got toasty in about 5 minutes.
