I ordered this jacket for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it, she said this is THE jacket for Middle School girls in Georgia. So I am very pleased with the jacket and the service was great it came quickly. We gladly recommend to anyone looking for a jacket

My daughters love this jacket. They want to wear it all winter long! I want to note - know your sizes! My first (of three) daughters got a women's small. My second daughter got a child's ($20 cheaper) XL. The child's size is much larger than the woman's (and all my three daughters are exactly the same size). But they love it so much, they don't care!

I'm 5'5'', 140 lbs and I got the XL for myself. Great fit. Arm lengths perfect. Great looking color, sort of looks like the light green in a cucumber. :)

Here is an answer I wrote to someone's question about sizing: I'm not sure about the mediums for this jacket, but I ended up getting an XS for my 6 year old who is in the 50-70th percentile on the growth charts. It fits just a bit big... exactly what I wanted!

Great Jacket but sizes are off. I ordered my daughter 14/16 XL that she would normally fit. But had to send it back and ordered a size medium which fits perfectly. And she LOVES it.

Great jacket -- love the cut on this so much more than the Denali. The Denali is short and boxy where this is long and lean, just like my kids. I purchased this in the L for my daughter who is soon to be 10, but is very tall (4'10") and thin. It's big now but will be good in the fall and we should get a few seasons out of it. The Medium might have been a perfect fit for right now but wouldn't have had any longevity for her. I got the boys version for her twin brother and the Mountain Light shells to zip them into. This would get 5 stars if they offered a Nepali version like they do for the boys that has the shoulder protection. Hoping the packs won't destroy the fleece on the shoulders!

I am a very small woman (100lbs). I already have the Khumba Fleece jacket in woman's size S. It's a slimmer cut, so it fits me well. I love it. I have definetly gotten my money's worth & more.
I decided to try this same jacket in a youth size to save money..and the youth offered my son's school colors. A color that was not available in the adult catagory. I ordered an XL in youth. The youth jacket is not cut as slim as the womans. It is cut more staight & boxy. It also feels thinner than my other one. Since it is my son's school colors, and we have 6 more yrs to graduation, I decied to keep the jacket. I wear it over my school sweatshirts & am very warm at my son's sporting events..(plus I am color co-ordinated with my sweats!) My son & husband both have this jacket also. As parents always on the go, we love the extra inside pockets for keys, money & cell phones, etc.
We are pleased with our Khumba jackets.
We prefer this cut of North Face over the Denali jacket.

I love the jacket! Lightweight but very warm. I am 5'7" & womens size 8 and I ordered girls XL. Perfect fit. Girls large--arms were too short.

The jacket was great. I bought it for my daughter who's 10 who really wanted this jacket. The only problem was that the sizes are a little bit larger.. She's normally a size XL or 12-14, but the XL that I bought her was huge! It can fit a size medium in juniors.

I just went ahead and kept it because she will grow into it next year.

My 11 year old got this jacket for Christmas. This was her favorite gift! Fits perfectly!! She looks great wearing it with jeans and wearing it to church!

My 9-yr old daughter HAD to have a North Face jacket for Christmas, and even though most of the kids around here have the Denali, I thought that this style was much more attractive, and she loves it! I did run into some sizing issues based on other reviews that stated that the jacket ran big. My daughter wears a M (7-8) in her Old Navy fleece and so I ordered a S(7-8) in North Face. When it arrived I discovered that the sleeves were about 2 inches shorter than her Old Navy jacket, so I sent it back and re-ordered the medium, which is perfect. I think that the reviewers probably meant that the jacket runs big in the body (it isn't fitted as it appears in the pics - that is an illusion created by those grey stripes down the sides - it is actually quite boxy like the Denali), but if the sleeves are way too short then it isn't going the matter that the body fits better. Perhaps BackCountry should put the sleeve measurements in the size chart...

This jacket is perfect! Living in the East Bay where it can be 60 degrees and working in SF where it may be 10 degrees cooler, I always have to be prepared. I love how lightweight and warm this jacket is. Just for reference, I bought the Large for kids and it fits perfect; I wear a size 4/6 in women's.

This is a jacket that all the teens enjoy wearing, not only for its casual sytle but for its warmth. It's also lightweight and not restricting. It's important to note, though, that if a teen girl has a medium to large frame, a woman's size would be better than a girl's size.

I have never visited a web site that was as easy to use as backcountry.com. I bought the fleece jackets for my granddaughters and they will be perfect for the weather in South Alabama. They fit perfectly and if they had had to be returned, I would have felt comfortable returning one or both. I don't know who is at the helm of your company but they deserve an attaboy or attagirl. Please let them know what a good job their employees are doing.

My daughter is very particular about her clothes and she just loves this jacket! The fleece is thick, plush and very soft. A fantastic jacket that's durable enough to be passed down to our littlest daughter!

i bought this for my 10 year old daughter for christmas because she always complained about wearing big bulkie coats and jackets. when we went to stores she got to hot and would end up carring her coat which made her wine. this she loves because its so light weight yet still nice and warm that it satifies both our needs. mine as a parent who is keeping her kid warm and her as its so light and warm....... love it

We got our twin girls these jackets for christmas and they wear them every day. They are warm and soft. The pink is a pretty pink not to loud.

I bought it for my 12 yr. old granddaughter . It fit perfect true to size. Everyone has black but I took a chance with the blue ... she loved it. I ordered it and it came very fast . I was impressed with the speed the price and the quality.

Bought this jacket for my petite seven year old daughter..Love the styling, great fit! Very feminine! Love the color! Liked it so much, we bought one for my nine year daughter as well! We returned the "boxy" style jacket because in the same size it looked oversized.

i bought 3 of these for my daughters as they did really really good on their report cards. they were over the moon and didn't have them off their backs for at least the first 10 days. they all say they are very warm which is great.
i think the only thing my husband would comment on is that there is limited space to put their names on the inside of the jacket. they are expensive and coveted so i think a place to put their name that would be obvious if it was removed would be a great idea, lets face it thieves come in all shapes and sizes and we want to keep them as long as possible. thank you
