The North Face Women's Keilani Sandal give your foot a breath of fresh air after an intense hike. A little too tight

I received these as a Christmas gift this year and have only recently been able to wear them. The sole is nice and cushy, the size is true, the color is right on, but the horizontal strip across my foot is just too tight. I don't think I have particularly fat feet, either. Maybe my pair is the fluke pair that every batch has, but I feel like they're never completely on my feet, which bugs me. It's definitely a bummer that they don't fit correctly.
