Micropores on the inner layer of fabric are big enough for sweat and hot air to sneak out, but too small for rain or snow to get in; you don't get wet, overheat, or get cold from dried sweat, even when you're bootpacking up a 15% grade in the middle of a storm.
Even if you're not sweating, it's still winter outside, and the Keats jackets contains 550-fill goose down to keep you warm when you're sitting on the lift or waiting for a cab. The detachable hood adjusts to fit your head, and a removable faux fur trim lets you get gussied up or keep it simple. The stretch powder skirt doesn't change the delicate profile of the curved folded hem and comes off before you walking through Midtown. Clip-in integration lets you create a snowsuit from two (related) pieces and present a unified front against snow sneaking in through your waistband.
