A must-have winter running jacket

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Excellent jacket! When they say windstopper, they mean windstopper. I use both isotherm windstopper pants and jacket at 6200FT on the Front Range in Colorado from Low temps to 42 mph wind gusts. Awesome, kept me warm and comfortable and the wind out. Highly recommended!

Impressive Jacket.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I received my jacket shortly before Christmas and have had the opportunity to run in it during a variety of weather: rain, sleet, snow, wind, etc. As a result of the aforementioned experiences, I could not be more impressed with a jacket. The jacket (and pants) truly keep the wind out. It keeps my upper body warm. The material fits snugly but is flexible in all the parts you need flex. And the jacket has a zipper on the back big enough and compact enough to store endurance gels or house keys. This is an excellent jacket and I get disappointed when it is too warm for me to wear! No complaints thus far.

Solid Jacket for Cycling

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I believe this jacket is typically used for running, but I use mine for cycling. Winters in the Pacific Northwest are cold and damp, and cycling at a reasonable speed is the equivalent of a 15-20 mph wind. The isotherm jacket has the perfect combination of Windstopper to keep out the wind, the shell material is like a soft-shell that keeps out light rain and mist, and the thermal properties have kept me comfortably warm, without getting hot. The jacket is true to size and is intended to have an athletic fit, meaning that it is not baggy. I can envision multiple uses for this jacket, and I'm glad I purchased it.

Excellent Winter Running Jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

This jacket has been unbelievable for all my winter running in central NY. I have been wearing under armour cold gear with a very thin long sleeve shirt and that is all that is needed for even the lowest of temps. Initially it felt thin but have been very impressed with its performance. Ran 6 miles this morning at 4F (-9F real feel) with this jacket and was plenty warm. I am 5'10" and weigh 170lbs and the Medium is a good trim fit. Not too tight but not loose either. Does a great job blocking the wind while keeping you warm. Highly recommend this jacket. Run about 40-50 miles each week in any weather and this coat has held up great so far!!!
