Description

Handles whatever Mother Nature can muster.

Enjoy your outdoor adventures, regardless of what Mother Nature has in store, with The North Face Women's Inlux Insulated Jacket. This toasty insulated jacket has 100 grams of Heatseeker insulation to keep you warm on cold winter days and brisk autumn mornings. Its HyVent 2-layer membrane and sealed seams repel nasty rain storms and heavy snow squalls from dampening your camping or hiking plans.

Lined with cozy fleece, the jacket's upper body and collar provide a supple feel, especially when it's fully zipped against your face. The jacket's zippered hand pockets and Napoleon chest pocket stash small snacks and accessories, such as your media player or smart phone. In addition, there's a hem cinch-cord and internal comfort cuffs to keep out cold drafts.

Nice coat but not for me

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

Size Up! I am 5'6", 140lbs, wear 8-10 (M) in most all clothing. I ordered a M and it is way too small. If you want to be able to wear a long sleeve shirt of any type under this coat it will be too tight. I should have ordered a L because this coat runs small. It may be because the coat is cut with a feminine style, cut in at the waist, like princess seaming on dress shirts. This does make the coast more attractive and not so much of a bulky look. The coat is very nice: materials and construction. It will last forever for sure. It will keep the wet and wind off, as well as keep you warm. The outer shell is fabric but it is stiff and makes a lot of noise when you move. But this may diminish over time with wear and use (like a new stiff shoe). My issue is that I needed a coat to wear in the harsh fall/winter conditions of the NE when I walk outside to maintain my fitness throughout the year. So I needed a coat that would do all the stuff I listed above, but also be very flexible and non-constraining when I move. This coat just won't do this job for me at least. But, the coat is a quality piece of clothing; North Face, what else would it be.

Gave as a gift and she loves it!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift
  • Fit: True to size

I gave this as a gift here's what she had to say- I normally wear a medium and ordered a medium in this. The fit of the jacket is snug, when I wear my light fleece under it, it's fine. If I try to wear anything thicker it's too much. The Greystone Blue came to the house more purple, which was a nice surprise.

Great Jacket

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift

Bought this for my sisters birthday and was impressed with it. Great quality, looks built to last, and while thin looks to be warm. Fleece lining was a nice touch. Seems to fit true to size.
