The North Face Women's Impulse Pant feels deceptively comfortable—on the surface, you're just lovin' a soft polyester wide-leg drawstring pant. But before you settle onto the couch with a pint of Cherry Garcia and a Sleepless in Seattle DVD, you should know the Impulse Pant will perform handily during aerobic activity as well. You can hop right off that couch (but of course save the ice cream for later) and go for a brisk morning run, trusting the Impulse Pant's wicking micropolyester fabric to draw away sweat and ventilate. When you come back inside and hunt for your spoon you'll still feel fresh and dry as a daisy.
Bottom Line: Don't fight the impulse, baby.

I can't wash these fast enough to wear them! I seriously love these pants for running. Typically I wear shorts to run (at the gym), but these are so light and breathable that they are perfect. They are so comfortable. I love the waistband and the length of the pants. They dry quickly and wash well. I would buy another pair if there was another Medium available!

This fabric is great. Keeps you comfy when running in cooler weather. Fits well around the hips and butt, with a slightly loose cut around the lower legs. They have a flattering yoga pant fit, but the material is definitely suited for cool-weather outdoorsy running around. Definitely a winner.

I ordered these in a medium and they feel rather snug. In the same order, I ordered another North Face pant in medium and the fit was perfect. I'll be returning the Impulse pant. :(
