Rather than chugging out the miles in sweaty turmoil, you can breeze through the miles with this shirt’s carefully placed mesh venting, wicking fabric, and flat-locked seams. The zipper allows you to vent some hot air, and thumb loops keep the sleeves from riding up while you pump your arms and sprint into the lead.

Great Mid layer

This is overall a great stretchy, warm, breathable and packable mid layer shirt. I use this shirt more in the backpacking field, and it works great over a t-shirt for a little chillier afternoon or lunch break. Great mid layer for skiing too, the zippered front lets you dump heat and still remain wicking. The thumb holes are great if you don't feel like wearing gloves, or, if you are, they keep the sleeves inside and keep you warm. The zipper pulls are glow in the dark too, I'm not quite sure why though. The bottom hem seems to be a little short, so tucking and riding up are small problems that are very minor to me.

I recently bought yet another one of these pullovers.... Solid. I would buy more if I could but this is the ultimate in comfort and breatability

Sure I think it would work well for cross country mountain biking.
For free ride mountain biking it might not be as durable.....

First off let me say sizing is true fit. I am 6'2" 210lbs and I got a large and its a nice fit both in the body and length.
I bought this pullover for running both for spring/summer and for layering in the winter and it's awesome.
I took it out on an 8 mile run today with temps up near 90 degrees. It breathes really well, better than my patagonia runshade, and provides great ventilation with the side panels and the whole back of the shirt. The little side pocket is great for keys or gels and is easy to get in and out of while running.
I love North Face shirts. I have been really impressed with everything that I have purchased out of their Flight Series, so check it out.
Overall, great fit, great vents, great buy.

I also ran a marathon in this shirt and after 4 hours of running, despite being sweaty and damp, this shirt remained comfortable. It's great at moisture management and keeping the sweat off your skin and moving it to the fabric so it can dry.

I just bought this today for a trip to Ecuador. Im already loving this pullover. Its a very light weight pullover that is extremely versatile. The fit is perfect for any athlete, and doesnt bunch up as you move. Im excited for the potential of this pullover as the coming year passes
