Another six inches of snow last night and those Gucci loafers just aren’t cutting it anymore. It looks like it’s time to beef up your footwear to something that can handle winter in the real world. The North Face designed the Men’s Hot Toddy Shoe to keep your feet happy through the dead of winter without looking like you have to scale K2 on the way to work.
Waterproof nubuck and suede upper provides a tough first layer of protection against the elements
HydroSeal waterproof and breathable membrane wicks sweat and keeps water from getting inside your shoe
Having purchased North Face shoes for the first time....I was a little skeptical, but I have to tell you these might be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Not only are they comfortable, but they are waterproof and warm especially if paired with my Smartwool socks. As far as size, I am usually a 10 and the fit was a little snug, so I went for the 10.5 and the fit is sweet......I am impressed.....I guess i have another option to look at for shoes....The North Face is the real deal.
Warmest Mock I have owned. A little hard to slip-on, not crazy about the styling, but the traction, warmth, waterproofing is very very good. This mock will hold up in the single digits all day!!! Overall it is an excellent mock that is very comfortable but you need to break-in they are snuggle at first. Size seems fairly true once broken in...once again the tongue needs to be broken in.
Write your answer here...I normally wear a 10.5 wide and I went with an 11. They were tight for about 1-2 days and now fit perfect. I'd recommend a 1/2 size bigger than what you normally wear.

I have had a pair of Salomon knobby snow shoes for the last 10 years. I was very uncertain about the idea of replacing those shoes. I made the jump and purchased the Hot Toddys. On my first trip with them, I brought along my old Salomons just in case. I never used them. I really like the Hot Toddys and I cannot believe how good the grip is compared to other shoes I have used. At first, they were a little tight, but they loosened up over a few days. I liked them so much I purchased additional pairs for my mom and dad. They love them too.
I usually wear 11.5 and ordered this pair in that size. Initially they felt a little tight, but after wearing them for 2-3 days they feel perfect. I tried size 12 in a local store, they felt too large. So 11.5 should work for you.
These shoes are hella toasty. I have yet to find a warmer shoe. Sizing is true as others have stated. I usually wear 11.5 and it fits fine...a little snug, but it will stretch. Go w/ a thinner sock at first if it seems tight.
I love them. I just got back from Steamboat and my feet were warm and dry the whole time. Wish the brown ones were cheaper I would buy them in a minute
I'm usually either a 10 or a 10.5. I went with the 10.5 and they started out a bit snug. After the first couple of times wearing them they stretched out a bit and now fit perfectly. I'd definitely go with the 10.
i usually wear a size 12,but my foot measures out for a size 11-go figure. i bought the 11.5 in these,as i have other northface shoes in 12,and they are a bit long, and thought i may be more comfortable when these shoes stretch out. the 11.5 is ok. the ankle is a bit tight at first.it does stretch out slightly, but still tight. comfort/all day wear--yes,its better than i expected. warmth--my feet still feel warm hours after i take these shoes off. durability-great. i just wish these came in 3/4 ankles because snow will get to your ankles in theses shoes.light snow, andcold weather are no problem. the style is very nice.i bought the brown for next year, the black for this year.i usually go with ranger smith's from patagonia for deep snow, but these have been so comfortable, and supportive that i haven't put my rangers on since before x'mas(but i have worn my tnf stormpeak clogs-another nice one from tnf).
