The North Face Horizon Hat - 2009 BCS

This hat was just a bit too small, even being adjustable, for my giant noggin. I wear a 7 5/8 in fitted hats, so let that be your guide. It is a nice hat, though, and now my wife wears it.

This hat has worked well on sweaty ski tours!
And it packs away well,without losing it's form.
Light quick drying material!

The North Face hat is breathable and lighteweight, Perfect for me working outside everyday this summer.
I also thought it was a steal at only 20 bucks.

Like most guys, I've got a dozen or so ball caps, from freebie "gimme caps" to my Mets and NYRangers hats. However, it seems that whenever I want or need to wear a cap, I always reach for my North Face hat. From running, biking, walking the dog, hiking for turns, keeping dry in the rain, going out for brunch, etc., etc. this cap does it all. And the best feature is, it's washable! Adjustable strap at the rear is attached with a small piece of elastic so you can a nice fit. Strangely enough, BC.com does not carry the khaki color. Wonder why? No matter, I'm sure another color will look good on you. Cheers.

I wear out ball caps.... many, many ball caps. I was skeptical of a nylon ball cap, but tried it out a few years ago. The hat is still in great shape. You can wash them. The inside of the bill must be plastic. The back strap is elastic and accommodates a skull cap without readjusting. They're light. They do sweat stain, but not as badly as a wool hat. I've got a small head and these don't look stupid like many hats do. Finally, I'll say that I lost my respect for TNF when they went mainstream years ago, but this hat (and their duffel bags) has recovered a little of that respect.
