The North Face Horizon Cargo Short - Men's - 2008 BCS

I love these shorts. I have had a pair for a year or so, and have just b0ought a second pair, in case they become unavailable. I also have a pair of full-length pants, same style and material. I love how light and comfortable they are, and how much stuff you can carry comfortably in the various pockets. I regularly get people asking about them, where they can get some etc.
Every year, I can't wait for the weather to be warm enough that I can start wearing these again. Got the message? I love 'em........

Perfect fit for me-- small fits my 29in waist, slim shape, short height. It's hard to find shorts that are not baggy for me.
If you've got big thighs, you might have some issues here. Material breaths well. I've hiked, played golf, and slept in these shorts and bought 3!

I'm not a frequent reviewer but had to post about this item. I LOVE these shorts. They're light and compact to the point where they can fit into it's own stowable back pocket. The pockets are awesome. Small key/safety pocket on the inside, easy and comfy hand pockets, easy open non-bulky cargo pockets, loops on the front of the right pockets that hide well, zippered back pocket (yay prevent theft). The waist stretches a bit with elastic, kind of ugly belt loops but who cares. It also has this drawstring thing to keep the waist in check that can kind of get in the way but eh, easy to fix. They are kind of on the short side (a bit longer than half thigh) which I actually dig for functionalityOverall one of my favorite pairs of shorts!!!

The shorts are very comfortable and light.Dry fast, if you get them wet.I just came back from SO.utah, they worked very well. One thing,it says two back pockets,the pair i have only has one on the right cheek? Other than that,pretty good.

I bought some of the previous version of these shorts last year, and they were great, I lost them at some point... I'm pretty sure my x stole them when she left, but that's another story.

Anyway, I couldn't remember what size I had, so I consulted the sizing guide. I usually wear pants in a 33 or 34 waist, so I ordered a medium.

This was incorrect, the shorts wound up wedged up my butt, with a sizeable bulge on the crotchal region. Some might consider this to be a benefit, I don't.

Please don't misunderstand, I don't like baggy shorts, especially for something I'm going to be relatively active in, but you might want to take into consideration that the sizing guide may err on the slim side.

these are sweet shorts, they are light and comfortable. I like the way they feel and look. I am going to get at least one more pair, and other colors. they have become my favorite shorts I own.

these are nice and light shorts. good stuff for all summer activites. own 2 pairs and probably get more as they wear out.

A comfortable, light and functional short that looks good, too. This short is very lightweight, and can be worn instead of khakis for hanging out. Many pockets and a drawstring. Can get wet like a swimsuit due to nylon material. I had two, and got two more this year...that says it.
