Some jackets don’t feel very cozy on top of a short-sleeve tee. The North Face made the Women’s Hope Point Full-Zip Hooded Jacket with a soft fleece backing so your arms can live in fuzzy bliss when you’re on the trail or in town. Your friendly wave won’t come off as an awkward Frankenstein gesture thanks to the stretchy polyester and spandex fabric in this jacket. The Hope Point’s print will do just fine with jeans, hiking pants, and solid shorts.
Ordered the jacket in the pink, green, and brown pattern. It is better in person than I expected. The inside is so soft and a great alternative to a sweatshirt. Love the pattern!
1) does northface still carry this jacket in Lakeshore Green? 2) What color is the first couple of pictures (in the zoom)? It looks like white with grey plaid...does northface still carry it in that color?...what is the color's name? --------thanks
Lakeshore green is a colorway from 2008, you will not find it. The color in the first six detailed views is called Moonlight Ivory and is from 2008 as well.
If you think this jacket will keep you warm in the winter, think again. This would work under another jacket, but it is pretty thin. I thought it would be more of the softshell material, but it is more of a sweatshirt type material, although better than that. It is silky feeling, 90% polyester, so it doesn't have that cotton shirt feel to it. I ordered a large, but really should have stuck with a medium. I'm 5'7", 130 ish, I thought this would be more form fitting and wanted it roomy, but a medium would have been best. Still, with a fleece shirt underneath it, it will be fine. The sleeves are plenty long enough, so that is nice. The vine print is pretty cool, although in the picture, it looks like the background white is bright white, but in reality it is more of an off white. It is a cute jacket, but I would have been bummed if I paid full price for it.

When I got this jacket I thought it was a little bit weird, with the stretchy material on the outside. But the interior is soft and I think it will be great for spring since I always het to warm. The only funky thing is that there is a seam going around the upper arm, like where your t-shirt would end. It's not scratchy like they can be and not very visible because of the pattern on the jacket, so it's not a big deal, just kind of funky.
Love the style and fit. Just warm enough for spring or fall with a light t-shirt or tank underneath. Definately order a size up. I am a small in everything and needed a medium to fit. HIGHLY dissapointed in the fact that after wearing it a couple of times these little fuzz balls developed all over it! I guess from the fleecey liner on the inside. Anyway, it looks like it is 10 years old after wearing it a couple times out. HATE THAT!!!!! Expected better from NorthFace, especially for the price.
I just received my NF jacket today. I love the fit and detail of this jacket. I am a size 14 on top and the XL fits with some room to layer underneath. It's soft interior is a nice plus! Can't wait to wear it out and about!
