Nice Jacket but..

I love this jacket really.. It does the job, but you have to always close the jacket or else the velcro will snag on the sleeves. Which in my case ruined mine. And I just got it less than a month ago. Im returning it and get something else that doesn't have velcro in it. :( I love northface still.

Cool design Down Jacket that keeps warm

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

bought it for my recent trip to Beijing. It kept me warm at the freezing cold temperature -13 degrees. The double-breasted design makes the jacket stands out from the normal front-zip designs. Great, i like it :)

Will you guys have any other colorsof this...

Will you guys have any other colorsof this jacket available? Or other sizes anytime soon?

How snug is this in the hips? I am 5'1"...

How snug is this in the hips? I am 5'1" and an L in chest/waist but closer to the XL in hips. Is the bottom flared enough that I can get the L, or should I size up?

North Face is usually pretty accurate when referencing the size chart. The thing to be wary of when ordering the youth styles is that the sleeves will be a bit shorter than the women's equivalent version. I would recommend sizing up to the XL on this one. You could also try ordering both sizes and sending back the size that didn't work out. Chat up or call one of our Gearheads and they can help you set that up.
