A durable rubber outsole shrugs off trail abuse, while the lightweight EVA midsole feels comfortable mile after mile.

These shoes kept my kids feet dry and fairly warm, which is a lot considering the amount of time spent in the stream rather than on the crossings.

These have turned into some really nice little hiking shoes for my two oldest boys. Sizewise they're right on with the sizing chart. The color matches the pictures surprisingly well. Smaller sizes have elastic laces as well as standard laces so you can swap them out. Larger sizes only come with standard laces. The soles last a very, very long time. You do want to be careful when they get close to heat though. The sides of the soles melt pretty easily. They are definitely waterproof.....we're just having to get my youngest use to the fact that waterproof only means that your feet stay dry when the water level is below the top of the shoe:)
