Not very comfortable

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I tried these on just to try them on and I didn't think they were very comfortable. I walked around a little in there and realized they weren't for me.

Good for the Price

I ordered a size 6. My right shoe fits fine in length, but my left toe is just about at the end of the shoe. It's not painfully squished in the shoe, so I think it will work, but I probably would return these for a 6.5 if that size was the same price (for some reason, the 6 is on sale for $59.97, but the 6.5 is listed as $79.95). I also have narrow heels and these are a bit loose for me there, but after moving the laces to the back hole at the top, they feel much better and, again, I think they will work since I'm not out hiking around a whole lot. Looks like it has good tread on the sole.

Great shoes.

I ordered these shoes recently and they are really great. The tread is great for the PNW alternating weather conditions (Wet to dry in a day). I hike trails in the mountains in Western Washington with these shoes and they were absolutely true to size. I contemplated going a half size larger since I was ordering online, however I am very pleased that I stayed to my true size.

Happy hiking!

Raerae,

If they are anything like the men's shoe I would order at half size larger. I'm a true 10.5 and I ordered an 11. My toe runs to the end but I can tell they will be quite comfy once I break them in.

Crummy lace but good shoe

one of the laces failed within two months. Shoe is great and worthy of five stars but with only one lace only gets one star

1 star for a broken shoelace? It's a very misleading review

Responded on

Really, for a shoe lace?

I purchased these shoes, and they are fantastic! I hike miles and my feet never hurt.

4 star deduction for a broken shoelace? Glad the sole did not delaminate.

I agree. Your review throws off the entire star rating for this shoe and could scare off people who would otherwise love this shoe but didn't take time to read down through the reviews. A broken shoelace wouldn't even register on my list of "cons."
