Light and comfortable.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I wear a 9-9.5 and I went with a nine in these shoes not thinking I would have to wear a hiking sock but i do. They are a HIKING shoe so wearing a thicker sock is actually beneficial. That extra padding is essential for long days. Most people say that they size up by 1/2 to a full size to wear a bigger sock but I didn't have to size up with these. They are light and feel great on my feet! I wore them on six hour hikes and my feet still felt good. if you're hiking craggy trails where the terrain is jagged, they will get beat up kinda quick. the waterproofing is great! They keep my feet cool when the temp is hot. Good traction on most terrains.

Initial review.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I purchased these Hedghog several weeks ago with the intent to use them for summer hiking and mountain biking. Living in Massachusetts I have not used them yet for Mountain Biking. I do wear them all day for work and on weekends. They fit true to size, (13), and are very comfortable to wear all day. I have not done anything with them hardcore yet. A very good shoe.

Comfortable hiking shoe

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small

Comfortable, well-made hiking shoe. My shoe size is about a 10/10.5 wide, and I had to get an 11 for good fit. It's water resistant and yet breathes.

Hedgehogs gone wild

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Straight out of box to 5.5 mile trail walk. Great shoes. Light, comfortable, dry.

Awesome shoes

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

These shoes are my favorite shoes right now. I use these everyday they are waterproof and very comfertable. I walk 30 minutes to work every morning and then 30 minutes home. They are a little warm during the summer but I don't think they are to warm and my feet usually sweat a lot in any shoes. I also go running in these. I have ran on roads and off roads with these and they do very good. I have also ran on treadmills with them and I didn't have any problems. I've been using these for about 6 months and I'm happy with them.
