I purchased this shirt about a month ago, and I have yet to be able to wear it. It is huge! Every other shirt I own is a medium, so I ordered a medium in this shirt. I'm not sure if they're just expecting the average American medium to be a rest-of-the-world large, but I cannot wear this shirt because it's so huge. The material seems great, and the quality seems to hold up through multiple washes (as I attempt to shrink it down a little), but I cannot give much feedback other than on the size.
Good Value

You really can't go wrong with TNF t-shirts in general. I've had a few that have lasted me 5 years in a fairly heavy rotation and they are just starting to fray around the collar. With regards to the comments about sizing, I personally feel sizing was true. I didn't feel much of a difference in comparison to my other TNF t-shirts. As far as quality, it's a nice heavy weight t-shirt. I'm sure it will last me years.
awesome gift

The shirt is quality. I have many TNF shirts but this one seems MASSIVE. I usually wear a medium, preferring a tighter fit; however I am swimming in this one. My advice is consider your size and required fit closely.

I bought this for myself and at first glance I didn't think it was going to fit but then I tried it on and it fits great. I am 5'6" and 150 female and a medium fit perfect. It is thick and keeps you nice and warm but still has great flexability.
Runs large

I got a small in this tee thinking it would just be a comfortable tee for work however even the small was huge. I washed it on hot and it did shrink a little but I would still say it runs large. Other than that good tee.
Great quality and love it

Very nice shirt and heavy duty made. Bought this shirt in a small as all North Face shirts I have bought previously in a medium were a little big on me. Well this shirt in a small does run a little more fit so maybe a medium might have been just right but it's hard to say knowing I've owned several medium North Face medium size shirts that were a little big on me and this tends to be a little to snug to the chest. But it's overall great and will loosen up with time. Overall love it and will wear for a long time. And a BIG Thank you to Back Country for it's great customer service agents and fast shipping. Best outdoors company I have shopped with so far.
It's a T-shirt - too many labels !!!

It's a decent T-shirt, soft and comfortable from the start, looks like it will last a long time. Only problem... why do they need to put 7 tags on the back of the collar ? Yes, 7 ! Very uncomfortable if you don't remove the tags and there's always the possibility of ripping the seam when you pull of the tags.
Classic.

I got a black w/ red TNF logo on it about 5 years ago and it's still my favorite tee that I own. Held up against long fishing seasons, hiking, and some brutal skiing sessions as well. I love the fit (not too tight, not too loose) and I plan on getting more soon.
Comfortable

Fits a little loose, but not to the point I could go down to a medium. Makes for a nice comfortable shirt to switch into after a long day of work.

The medium is a large or almost an XL in any other t-shirt I have bought. Maybe a good night shirt.
Comfy!

Not only does this shirt keep it simple stupid, but the quality of the shirt material is top notch. This isn't your typical cheap logo shirt. TNF actually used quality fabric that's a little thicker than most tshirts, so don't feel bad about paying over twenty bucks to own this bad boy it's worth it! Solid gold baby!
Good shirt, good price

Got this one for a christmas gift for my brother-in-law. He loves it, I like the color (got the Deep Water Blue/Alloy Grey), fit, and material of this shirt. Fortunately, my brother-in-law does love it as well! ;)
