The North Face Half Dome Pullover Hooded Sweatshirt - Women's - 2008 BCS

I had ordered an XL for my wifes Christmas present. I was sent an XS, and ended up giving it to my 10 yr old daughter. Other than my daughter getting the one gift my wife actually asked for. The hoodie was quality, and cozy.

There really isn't much special about this hoodie. It seems to be made of decent quality and has a really nice thick hood. This runs at least a full size small.

Order a size bigger than usual. It is really soft a comfy. I would have liked it to be a little bit longer though.

I'm normally a small in TNF, but the small of this sweatshirt wouldn't even go over my head. I've never had trouble with the size of my head for anything, even hats. The medium was an extremely snug fit and I had quite a struggle taking it off. The large fit best, but a little loose. I'm 5'3", and between a size 4 and 6.

I bought this for my Girlfriend in the XS, it fit like a glove, The 80/20 combo material is extremely comfortable and warm. It is a great all around option. and the Grey tone is a flat grey color that looks great.

I ordered a M and both the sleeves were too short and body was too short. I am 5'7", wear a size S on top and don't have ape-length arms, so I chalked it up to poor design and returned it. I kept the Spyder hoodie, which has long sleeves and a long, narrow-ish body.

I am a size small but ordered a medium after reading other reviews; it is just a tag big, but I think sweatshirts should be roomy anyway. Overall I am really happy with it and I want one in every color!

When I first found this sweatshirt I read all the reviews as usual and have to say I was surprised. I have been buying North Face products for years and have never had the issue of anything running small. I usually wear an extra small, but in this case decided to take the advice of the reviewers and went with one size up. I'm actually sorry I did that. The sweatshirt fits fine but is actually a little big. I'm 5'3" petite and around 119 lbs and I like my sweatshirts somewhat form fitting. I would say that this item fits true to size for base layers and advise those considering it to think about how you like your sweatshirts to fit. If you prefer bigger and more bulky, go a size up. Otherwise stick to your regular size.

Run's a size small though. I usually wear a medium in North Face Jackets (5'8" / 130 lb) the medium was a little snug. I love the color and it is soooo warm!

GOT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER AND SHE LOVED / LOVES IT. JUST WHAT SHE WANTED AND IT IS SOFT, CUDDLY AND WASHES UP GREAT. JUST WISH I HAD GOTTEN ONE FOR MYSELF.

I was worried about sizing when I was reading the reviews. I didn't have much choice and got a large, hoping that it would be okay. I got it and it was about one size big for me. I was able to boil it in hot water, throw it in the dryer and shrink it down one size. Perfect. I have washed and dried it again, and it's now the right size, probably in between a small and medium.

I got such a great deal on this hoodie. $20 shipped. I really would like to buy another... perhaps I'll wait for a sale.

I have to say that I really love this sweatshirt, it is really warm and cozy. However, I am glad that I didn't listen to all of the other reviewers when they said it ran small. I guess it depends on how you want your sweatshirt to fit, but I prefer mine to still look at least a little fitted. I normally wear an x-small in North Face apparel and would have gotten a small based on the reviews, however they did not have a small, so I got an x-small. I am glad that I did! The only part that seems small to me is the head opening. I am 5'2" and around 110 pounds and the x-small fits exactly how I would want it to. All in all, I love this sweatshirt!

i love northface...and i recieved my first order from backcountry. i did not recieved what I was expecting (black hoodie, GREY logo, and black drawstrings with a GREY centered verical line). the picture totally did not match what i got in the mail. it was all black and white with no drawstring contrast. the fit is just right..maybe a little snug. i made a complaint to back country and hopefully they will change the black and blue and pink hoodie online photos. it can be deceiving..

I usually buy an extra small But I bought a small to be safe. It was still to small, I returned It and got a medium. It fits but i cant wash it or It will shrink.

This sweatshirt is really soft and comfy. Definitely order a size larger than you normally wear though, because the lengths of the sleeves and torso are a little short.

I really love this hoodie! I have a size medium and I really like the shorter length. The hem hits at the hip, which is a good length for me. I'm 5'6" tall. Sleeve length is good too because they hit right at the heel of your hand, not too long that they get in the way. The fabric that is used is super soft too! I wish I could wear it all the time!!

My wife is a big North Face fan, she specifically wanted this sweater. She was not disappointed, highly recommends it.

I bought this hoody as a gift for my sister-in-law. She wears a medium, but this hoody was way too small for her. Had to return it. She's not a big woman, either--5' 6"ish, thin build, medium-large bust. So, I'd recommend sizing up. Otherwise, it's a fine hoody.
