Between a mid-calf softshell upper and warm fleece lining, The North Face Women’s Hailey Winter Boot dishes out some serious cold-weather-ready performance. Winter Grip outsoles use Ice Pick temperature-sensitive rubber lugs to keep you on your feet while you travel the iciest sidewalks in the city. The North Face also included a lightweight, compression-molded EVA insole to pad your feet while you cruise downtown.
Bottom Line: The sidewalk is icy? I didn’t notice.

Once again I have ordered a boot that is too small in the calf. I have a 16" calf and they weren't even close to fitting. Many don't have this problem with boots, but if you do, these aren't the one's for you. Keep trying. They were soft and comfortable on the inside. I didn't like the detail on the toe and heel (which is not pictured very well). It looked as though the boot was dirty (mud splashes). The stitching is cute. This will probably work for most.
