    North Face Tights

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

This is my wife's second pair of these. They are very comfortable and keep you very warm when worn on a cold day, or cool when worn on a warm day. They are great as active wear, or to wear daily as leggings.

    Such a flattering pattern

I love these pants! The pattern is very fun and extremely flattering. Like someone else said, I get compliments every time I wear them. I have to tie the waist string to keep them snug, but they fit perfect everywhere else. They're fairly warm too. Good for a cooler day, but not for downright cold weather. My one complaint about these pants is that my phone (iphone6) doesn't fit in the back pocket... not a huge deal though. I will definitely be purchasing more of these!

    I love The North Face

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is my second pair of North Face tights and I've decided North Face is my new favorite brand. It's been getting down to the low 40's on my morning runs and these keep me warm, but never make me hot. They fit like a second skin that I can forget about. The material is soft and silky. My only problem is with the leg zippers. I'm a little short (5'4"), which makes them bunch slightly at the bottom, and the zipper pull digs into the side of my achilles. Unzipping them a bit might work (I haven't tried it), but instead I flip the bottoms up about half an inch so the zipper pull doesn't come into contact with my leg. It's minor really, considering the fit is SO perfect and comfortable. I wear a size 6 in street clothes and the medium fit perfect.

    Great Tights

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

Every time I wear these tights I get compliments on them, everyone loves the print. They fit great, almost like tights you wear under a skirt. I wear them to Pilates, hiking, and around the house. The back of the knees has material that mesh like so they breath very well. There are zippers on the bottom of the pant too. My only issue with the pant is how often I have to pull them up and retie the waist.

    Favorite tights for over 34F

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I currently own tights from New Balance, CWX, Nike, Under Armour, Hind, Head, Mizuno, InSport, and The North Face, (6 pr for winter, 6 pr for spring/fall). Three pairs of my spring/fall tights are these TNF GTD tights. They are more flattering than others I have tried because the fabric is matte. and the seams make them look slimming. I wore them on a night run when it was 30-32F with no wind, and my legs were cold, so I think these are best suited to above freezing temperatures. Their interior is not brushed. They have held up well through many handwash cycles in the washing machine.

At 5'5 and 122 lbs, the small fits me perfectly.
