After laying down to rest my previous hoodie, I've been on a relentless search to find the perfect comfortable-yet-can-take-everywhere replacement.

After picking up one of these TNF hoodies, I can already tell you from the first week of wearing it, that it was something definitely worth investing in. The construction of the hoodie is thicker than most normal hoodies, but not bulky at all. It is very soft on the inside, and it's very plush.

The hood area has more than adequate space, especially for folks like myself who have a big head and neck. It fits wonderfully and is comfortable all around

It's a little pricey for a single hoodie, however I do believe in the saying "You get what you pay for", and I expect this to last for some time.

Would I buy this again? Sure.
Would I buy this on a sale? Yes, maybe two or three
Would I pay full price: If I didn't already have one, yes

Like the previous reviews, it's a North Face product, so, it's comfortable and plenty warm. I owned the half dome previously but lost it somewhere so got this for Christmas. There isn't a whole lot of different but this one does seem to be softer overall. The string are also different. The half dome has the rope type string where this has the thiner sqare type string, I don't prefer either one... Overall, another solid NF hoodie.

I'm usually a medium, but I got a large in blue. this may have been a slight error in judgement, as it's quite a big beast. really soft and just the right heavy weight.

Hopefully will enjoy wearing it more in the future if I can steal it back from my girlfriend!

Wicked comfortable hoodie. I am 5'7" athletic build and 165 pounds, I ordered a medium and it fits perfect! Great for an under-layer, or in the concrete jungle.

First off, I think have been able to gather up more hoodies/jackets than your average 18 year old, and from my experience a good hoodie needs to be: warm;yet comfortable, stylish;but not fruity, a good fit;not to baggy or tight, and durable. This hoodie passes all of these tests with flying colors. I get comments on it still, even though I've had it for a few months now. The only negative I have is that it loses its "elastic" ability all around, but a throw in the wash will set it straight. I also like the hood. It's not to small, but it's not so big that you look like Obiwan Kenobi either. No questions asked, this is my favorite product from TNF as well as backcountry.com so far, a must buy!

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! It's great for cold days when you don't wanna wear a bulky jacket! Great quality...doesn't shrink when dried...also doesn't attract alot of lint.

I was back and foth on buying the less expensive Northface hoodie. I am very happy I chose this one. It has embroidered logo vs. the silk screen and it seems to be better material.

I was looking for a relatively heavy, warm hoodie to wear on the nights I work when it's cold, but not jacket cold (~30F or below). This hoodie filled that role perfectly, working on chilly, windy, and rainy nights (I was still comfortable down to about 35F with a light wind). The inside is fleecy soft, which means it could be worn by itself as comfortably as with a t-shirt. The sizing is a bit large, but I wouldn't say a full size larger so just expect plenty of breathing room if you're only wearing a t-shirt or less underneath. Absolutely no regrets with this purchase.

Wonderful hoodie -- you can't beat the North Face quality!!! Only slightly negative comment is that the ribbed waistband doesn't retain its shape after one wearing -- once you wash the hoodie, it reverts to its original shape. Otherwise, this is without a doubt the best quality sweatshirt I have ever owned. Thick, cozy, well constructed.

This is the first product I purchase from North Face and I have to say that now I understand why they are the number ones out there. It keeps me warm and comfortable. I Will say that it is the best sweatshirt I own.
