At home on the runway, happy in a meat locker.

I just wanted to share my experience of this product.
I bought 2 North Face Greenland Down Jackets for my girls and I am delighted with them.
They are extremely warm and comfortable. They are very well made and I really like the fact that they have adjustable tabs at the cuff to keep out the cold.
I have two girls a year apart bought the same size jacket for both. They are generously enough sized that that it fits my older daughter beautifully and the adjustable belt and adjustable cuff means it fits my younger child comfortably too.
Best of all the jackets look just great. I have had heaps of compliments about the girls when they wear these coats and it makes me happy to think they look so pretty whilst being toasty warm.
I am located outside the USA and I found the online purchasing and posting service by backcountry to be reliable.
I am happy to recommend this product to anyone. I just hope that North Face keeps making them because I will most certainly keep buying them!
Good North Face Jacket for Girls
Very pleased with the jacket - true to size - ordered a Medium and it was ideal for my 10 yr old. Warm not too bulky but stylish too - only comment would be the matte black fabric tends to pick up lint a little bit.
A proper Cornish farm girl loving her Greenland jacket!
My daughter is on her fourth winter in this coat, and she still adores it! This photo was taken the second winter that she had this coat, and as you can see, she definitely put it to good use. I know that when we replace it that the only coat we will consider is another Greenland by North Face!
Best coat EVER!
We moved to Cornwall, England, from Florida in August of 2007. My son, an avid North Face fan, purchased this coat in blue for my daughter, who at the time was seven. She is now ten, and still wearing that coat. We lived in Cornwall for two years, and that coat got a LOT of use, we even have pictures of her wearing it one year in May, and then we moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where she wore it through a winter. We are now living near Seattle, and her blue Greenland is still her only coat. Oh, she has others, she just never wears them. He bought her a medium, and this same coat will get her through the winter, but we will have to graduate to a large next year.
We have washed that coat more times than I can count, and it still looks great. We lived on a farm, and she lived the life of a Cornish farm girl, so that coat got dirty with mud on a regular basis. To date, there are no mud stains, nothing that would give away the fact that we are on our fourth winter with this coat. The fact that the fur trim comes off has been a huge plus, because that way we could wash it if needed, and then set it out to dry so that we maintained the fluffiness of the fur.
I would highly recommend this coat to anyone who is serious about staying dry and warm in the winter,
Good deal if you are a size small woman
My daughter wanted one of these, and we discovered she could wear a girls XL instead of a womans XS, and saved about 60 bucks! She sez it's a very warm coat, the shell makes it waterproof and more durable. Still looks a little puffy, but the belt helps.

I am 157cm tall and weigh around 47kg. I am thinking that this jacket in a large will fit me? Could you please advise?

I want to order this for my petite...
I want to order this for my petite 8 year old - what size do you suggest? I can't see the size chart on my mobile device.
Funny... I was looking for the exact same thing for our 8 year old petite daughter. I ended up finding the North Face sizing chart on a different site. Here is what they listed:
XXS = 4-5
XS = 5-6
S = 7-8
M = 10-12
L = 12-14
XL = 16-18
I ordered a Small. It should arrive tomorrow. She is sort of in-between a 6 and 7 so this might be a touch big but I think a XS might be a touch small. I'd rather go larger so she can wear sweaters underneath and possibly wear it next year too.
