Fun and warm!

Not too shabby for the urban subarctic in Alaska.
They keep feet fairly warm at -25F walks (I do have a felt insole added to them and wear 2 sizes larger than usual-for thicker socks) and short, winter bike rides. Style-wise, they are a huge smash with the locals in Fairbanks, Alaska. Not awesome for hiking on winter trails, but around town they're great.
