Load up the multiple pockets on The North Face Women’s Go-Go Cargo Pant with cash, lip balm, and other sundries, snap your pass onto the buddy lift clip, and head out for a full day of shredding the mountain. There’s no need to pull into the lodge to warm up or dry out, thanks to this pant’s fully taped waterproof breathable HyVent shell and 60g of Heatseeker Eco insulation—you can go for maximum bang for your lift ticket buck.

  • Low-rise boot cut is trim and athletic around the articulated knees, flaring to a wider cuff
  • Chimney Venting system improves airflow through the pant: stretch mesh in the upper section of the leg gaiter allows cool, dry air to enter the pant and warm, moist air to exit through upper inseam vents
  • Adjustable waist tab dials in the fit
  • Gripper elastic on gaiter keeps powder out of pant, while StretchVent upper section moves with you in the bumps and park
  • Reinforced cuffs help keep your hems from getting chewed up in the parking lot

Bottom Line: Keep go-go-going all day.

warm & stylish ski pant

By: Backcountry.com Sponsored Athlete

These are a really fun pair of ski pants. Great insulation to keep you warm on the coldest of days, but also stretch mesh that allows air flow if you need it. Great gaitors, solid cuff protection, and lots of pockets for stashing small items. The cut is fantastic on these, with a nice feminine fit, and great waist with belt loops for extra security and/or style. Good flexibility in skiing with articulated knees and a slightly flared leg.
I am 5'8, athletic build, and the Medium fits great.

Low rise = exposed back

By:

I love the fit of these pants, and the low-rise is very flattering. However, I have a hard time finding baselayers long enough to tuck into these pants (and stay tucked in). I never wear these on a powder day or a really, really cold days because I end up with my back exposed and snow down my pants if I fall or sit down, or bend over to adjust my boots, or do anything else that makes me bend at the waist.

I wish these pants had a heavy layer of Cordura or some other sort of tough abraision-resistant fabric sewn onto the cuffs. I have completely shredded the fabric of these pants with my ski edges, and my ski brakes now get caught in the holes and the holes cause snow to enter the cuffs of the pants. While the product description above says they have "reinforced cuffs" they must only be talking about the hem area, because I don't see any reinforcement at all. And honestly, the parking lot is not where I chew up my ski pants. There is a local seamstress who works with technical fabrics (tent repairs, etc.) and I think I will take the pants to her and have her sew on some reinforcements to lengthen the life of these pants.

Fantastical!

By:

These pants are awesome - I have other NF ski pants that I love, but these have a much more flattering cut for a woman's curves. Love the dark purple color and the usual awesome stuff like the leg vents and pockets. These are really warm on a cold Utah ski day (i.e., less than 20 degrees on the mtn) but super comfortable if the temperature warms up! The sizing is also good - plenty of length in the legs and room in the waist (but also adjustable in the waist).

TNF Rocks!

I love these pants. Got numerous compliments on the purple color this season. The cargo pocket is nice to stash your ski lock or other small items. They had a nice overall fit, not too tight, or too baggy. Very comfortable for skiing and riding (I do both). Waist band has velcro to be expandable or tighter. Helpful if you are layering for colder days. I skied these in minus 10 weather with an expedition weight layer underneath and was completely comfortable. And vents on the inner thighs helped keep me cool on the warmer spring days.

Awesome Pants

By: Backcountry.com Employee

I got these pants for Christmas, and they are great. The fit is awesome, and the insulation is just enough for resort skiing, and light enough for hiking and touring. The inside legs vents are key for hiking and warmer days.
