The North Face outfitted the Women's Ginger Delux Jacket with enough weatherproofing to survive a blizzard, enough styling to separate you from the tourists, and enough bells and whistles to satisfy even your small-detail needs. Inspired by The North Face's team of freeride athletes, this little number easily transitions between charging off the tram and heading out for a night on the town.

Stylish jacket!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This jacket is really stylish. The front clasps are magnetic which is easy and fast, and the cut is roomy but not too baggy. I know the other reviewers reported problems of the fabric wearing out, but I've worn this jacket over 150 days and have had no problems yet. It's warm and I really like it.

Fabric Flaw

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought this coat (directly from the North Face) and LOVED the coat...but unfortunately the pattern in the fabric seems to have a flaw. I wore it daily to work with a laptop bag slung over my shoulder. Where the bag hits on the jacket, the stitching in the pattern of the coat is pulling out/fraying. Not sure how to describe this but it is not holding up. I was very sad to have to return it after only 2 months. Came to BackCountry and picked up the Marmot Lone Tree instead...hopefully I like it on.
